It also supports USB Type-C notebook charging up to 100W and is compatible with systems running Windows 11 and 10, macOS, and Google Chrome.
HP’s Thunderbolt Dock G4 is equipped with two USB Type-C ports, both of which support data and power up to 15W, and one of which also supports DisplayPort video output. There is also one Thunderbolt 4 port, which delivers bi-directional transfer speeds of up to 40 Gb/s. Additional ports include one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, which supports up to 15W of power, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, which supports DisplayPort, and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two of which support up to 7.5W of power, while additional video can be output using two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port. Up to four simultaneous displays are supported at DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 60 Hz, while the maximum supported resolution is one 8K display at 60 Hz. Network connectivity is achieved using the RJ45 port, which supports 2.5Gb and 1Gb Ethernet.
System power is provided using an included 120W AC adapter. Power Delivery 3.0 is also supported and outputs 5V/5A, 9V/5A, 12V/5A, 15V/5A, and 20V/5A to compatible devices, with HP devices receiving up to 100W and non-HP devices receiving up to 75W. Protection is provided by a limited 1-year warranty.
