Internet Connection Sharing
The DWR-710 also functions as a Wi-Fi router, allowing the user to connect to a 3G network and organize mobile Internet access sharing for any devices equipped with a wireless interface. When Wi-Fi sharing is active, several client devices, such as smartphones, handheld gaming devices, laptops, and digital cameras, can use the 3G Internet connection. When Wi-Fi sharing is not active, the computer can remain connected to the 3G network, while the wireless network is turned off to save battery power.
